Thanks for the comment!

How about we declare Saturday night to be the "main event" that we
encourage everyone to be at. Other events are optional. I can set up a
Google Form for people to indicate what they intended to attend. We could
then cancel any low attendance events.

I think a "main event" is important so we don't end up with some people at
one event and others at other events so people miss seeing each other.
There would be at least that one event where everyone is there.
