Hi Harold- I’m sending this directly to you because my pictures won’t
send on the TALK email and I know you can fix it! We went to the Canyon
Club Brewery last night for a beer at the bar and dinner and it was a
really good place.  It has a nice outdoor setting as you can see from the
pictures below and is located across from the Moraga Safeway on Canyon
Road. I met with the manager and she said that Saturday night was already
booked for a wedding but Sunday night from 5-9 she could reserve the whole
outdoors for us without a charge for the space. We would just pay for food
and drinks.  She has accommodated 80-100 people in the outdoor space and
she suggested we have people pay in advance for two drink tickets ($10
each) and heavy appetizers. I am guessing $40 per person depending on the
appetizers we choose but don’t have a firm figure on that. If people
want more food or drinks they can order on their own outside or go inside
too if they like, which will still be open to the public. This would keep
the bookkeeping very simple and if people pay in advance they are more
likely to show up! I told her I would get back to her next week. If others
who still live in the area can go take a look please do and tell us what
you think. It is such a casual easy place it might work for us if Sunday
night isn’t a problem. Ann
